How effective can he be this year returning from his type of injury? Thanks.

Since he's not really an All-Star caliber pitcher to begin with, I wouldn't expect much. I think if you go in expecting say 4.50 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with about 7 K's per 9 innings you likely won't be overly disappointed. Then again, don't be surprised if the Rangers bring him along very slowly and/or he incurs a setback once he starts getting stretched out.
