I just traded for Jim Henderson in my league. I love his numbers so far, but am concerned he's only got a tenuous hold on the job.
Anyone have any insight/opinion on the situation in Milwaukee?

Wiley. In the future please post your questions in the appropriate baseball forum as this is for site announcements. That being said, to answer your questions I think you said it best with tenuous. First, Henderson simply lacks the skill set of the prototypical closer. He doesn't really mow people down and he doesn't have an "out" pitch. Secondly, Milwaukee isn't just going to turn their backs on Axford. He's been the closer of the future for a few years now so basically the job will be handed back to him once he shows he's found his groove again. He's definitely been better of late so we might see Axford back in the role sooner rather than later. That all being said, we've seen lesser talents hold onto a closers job for a full season before so as long as you didn't give up much to get him you can just enjoy the ride while it lasts.
