I'm trying to execute a trade in order to boost up my saves. I'm in a ten-team roto league. I am flush with good/great starting pitchers (Darvish, Verlander, Minor, Iwakuma, Minor, Masterson). Of those guys, I'm willing to trade any of the last four. The people with whom I have a chance to trade have the following closers: Johnson, Kimbrel, Romo, Mujica, Wilhelmsen, Grilli, Janssen, and Soriano. What would be a proposal that someone may bite on?

I would try to capitalize on Justin Masterson's excellent statistics and offer him up for the likes of Romo or Grilli. You'll never get a stud like Kimbrel but Romo and Grilli have awesome stats but lack that exciting name value. Masterson currently has a .278 BABIP which will likely rise back to the .302-.324 range which has been his career norm. Once that happens, his ERA will creep higher. I still like him as a pitcher, but with your depth and needs, he's not only the one I'd move, but he's likely the one that would get the other owner to bite.
That being said, try to create some type of package deal. I find that closers are just one-category players whereas a guy like Masterson affects many categories. Therefore, you could likely do better than simply one closer for a starter. In addition, closers get hurt all the time so if you're quick with the pick ups, you can potentially get yourself a closer for free off the waiver wire.
