Quick question, this is my first year and I am in a league in Yahoo, but I have Colin Kaepernick SF and Philip Rivers SD in my line up.... I am starting Kaepernick with Rivers on my bench, BUT from all the reading and research I have been doing it sounds like I should put Kaepernick on the bench this week and start Rivers. From what I have been readying Kaepernick is faced with a tough defence (IND) and Rivers is not as challenged with (TEN)..... at this point I am sooo confused! Any advice you can give? Thank you!

Don't believe everything you read. Colin Kaepernick is a stud QB and should never be benched for the likes of Phillip Rivers (unless Kaepernick is playing in Seattle, yes, I benched him last week).
Sometimes, stats can be misleading. The Colts are surrendering 249 yards per game through the air while Tennessee only gives up 222. Tennessee is holding opposing quarterbacks to a passer rating of 76.6 while the Colts give up 90.4. The Colts will have to throw against SF because T-Rich won't be a big part of the gameplan since he's so new and quite frankly, it's tough to run on Patrick Willis and the 49ers. Look for Kaepernick to keep up and use his legs for points this week. Rivers will never give you points on the ground.
Finally, I'll go back to my original point. Don't overthink things. Stick with your studs unless they are facing a daunting task (like playing in Seattle). If Kaepernick has an average game in your lineup and Rivers goes nuts on your bench, that's something you can live with. If Rivers stinks in your lineup and Kaepernick goes off on your bench, you'll be kicking yourself for day. I'd rather be wrong for the right reasons than right for the wrong one. It's like playing blackjack. If you stick to the rules of the game, more often than not you'll be better off.

My pleasure Gus. It's our job to keep you informed so that you keep coming back to FFLockerroom.com for all your fantasy sports needs. Good luck this weekend. As a Kaepernick owner myself, we have common rooting interests.
